Title holders Ittihad Jeddah were ousted from the AFC Champions League after a crushing 4-0 defeat to Al-Karama of Syria in the second-leg of the competition quarter-finals.

Goals from Iyad Mando and Ahmed Al-Omeir put Al-Karama at level with Ittihad, who won the first-leg in Jeddah 2-0.

But the Asian champions were stunned by a double from Mohanad Ibrahim in overtime to exit the competition with a 4-2 aggregate defeat.

Al-Karama, who became the first Syrian team to reach the competition semis, will face Kuwaiti side Al-Qadsia who eliminated former champions Al-Ain of UAE.

Al-Qadsia crushed the Emirates counterparts 3-0 in the second-leg, courtesy of a Fouzi Basheer double and a Mohamed Mubarak strike to qualify with a 5-2 aggregate win.

Al-Karama will host Al-Qadsia in the first leg of the semis on September 27th, while Ulsan Hyundai Horang-I, who eliminated Saudi champions Al-Shabab, will face South Korean counterparts Jeonbuk Motors.
