Ahli marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com on Saturday that the club submitted the new company's papers to the Egyptian Investment Council that approved it.

Al-Qaeyi, who said the channel will be launched by the end of 2006, revealed that the channel will air on the Egyptian satellite Nilesat.

He also said that Ahli reached an agreement to air their channel as part of the Arab Radio and Television (ART) package.

The African champions have announced on more than one occasion that they will launch an independent TV channel in cooperation with ART.
