Sweden captain Freddie Ljungberg is set to undergo tests on Monday to assess the calf injury that he sustained during the Spain clash in Euro 2008 qualifiers, the Swedish Football Association (SFA) said.

The tests will decide whether Ljungberg will be fit for Iceland game in Group F or not, added the SFA in a statement.

The Arsenal midfielder left the pitch after the break when his side were one up thanks to an early strike from Johan Elmander.

And despite missing their captain, Sweden went on to score the second and grab the summit of Group F.
