"I fully trust my players, who will honor Sfaxien and the Tunisian football, I'm just looking for just refereeing," Mahjoub was quoted as saying by Tunisian newspaper Al-Chourouk on Wednesday.
Egyptian champions Ahli will host Sfaxien in the first-leg of the African Champions League on Sunday.
Confederation of African Football (CAF) appointed Gambian referee Modou Sowe for the first-leg while Benin's Coffi Codjia will be in charge of the return-leg on the 12th of November.
Mahjoub said his players are determined to win the African trophy after a long journey to the competition's final for the first time in Sfaxien's history.
"We have achieved our dream, now we have to bear fruit," he added.
