South Korea' Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors are close to the AFC Champions League glory after grabbing a 2-0 home win over Syrian side Al Karama in the first-leg of the competition's final on Wednesday.

Yeom Ki-hun broke Al Karama's resilience on the hour mark when he capitalized on a dreadful error by defender Jehad Kassab, who failed to clear a long ball outside of his own box, before curling the ball home.

Brazilian striker Botti sealed the victory in stoppage time when he connected with Chung Jung-kwan's low cross to poke home from close range.

A draw or a loss with one-goal deficit is enough for the Koreans to lift the trophy while Al Karama need to win with a three-goal advantage.
