Zamalek's assistant coach Ahmed Ramzi has insisted that players Awuley Quaye 'Junior' and Ibrahim Saied will not be punished following their clash, which resulted in canceling Thursday's practice session.

Junior made a reckless challenge on Saied, who responded by spitting on the Ghanian midfielder and the confrontation developed into a heated exchange between them.

"The brawl was immediately contained and there is no reason to blow things out of proportion," Ramzi told FilGoal.com in an exclusive interview late on Friday.

"Neither player will be fined or suspended," he said. "It was just a small flare-up that happens between teammates in any club."

On the other hand, Ramzi said that coach Cajuda is still undecided on the player he will field beside Mohamed Aboul-Ella in the defensive midfield role in place of the injured Alaa Abdul-Ghani.

Regular stand-ins Tamer Abdul-Hamid is still recuperating from injury while Moetazbellah 'Eno' has been suspended by the club indefinitely.

The Portuguese manager is considering fielding youngster Ahmed Abdul-Raouf, winger Ahmed Hossam or Ibrahim Saied to fill Abdul-Ghani's void.

Zamalek's upcoming match will be against Asyut Petroleum in the Egyptian league on Sunday.
