Brazilian striker Ze Carlo scored in the dying seconds to help South Korea's Jeonbuk Motors clinch the AFC Champions League title on Wednesday despite a 2-1 away defeat to Syrian side Al-Karama.

Al-Karama were trailing by two goals from the first-leg before Mohamad Al-Hamwi and Mohanad Ibrahim scored after the break to level the aggregate score.

But Ze Carlo notched home in stoppage time to stun the home crowd and lead Jeonbuk Motors to their first ever Champions League glory.

The Syrian side were motivated by the chanting supporters but failed to break the deadlock in the first-half.

Al-Karama were ahead nine minutes after re-start when Iyad Mando's shot cannoned both off posts and went into the path of Al-Hamwi, who slot home into the empty net.

Ibrahim added the second six minutes later when he looped the ball from a tight angle past Jeonbuk keeper.

But Ze Carlo silenced the crowd just before the final whistle when he connected with Chung's pinpoint cross to head the ball into the back of the net.
