“We will probably field our usual line-up given the numerous injuries in our squad,” Al-Badri told FilGoal.com before leaving to Tunisia.
The African champions left to Tunisia with a depleted squad early on Wednesday for the anticipated second-leg against Sfaxien, but Al-Badri believes the Cairo giants will be able to overcome their crisis.
“The surprise will be in our strategy,” he said. “We have a lot in store for Sfaxien.”
The title holders were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw at home in the first-leg, and will need to at least match the score in Tunis on Saturday to maintain a chance in retaining the trophy.
“We suffered from very bad luck in the first-leg, but we are optimistic things will be better in Tunis,” he added.
