Ismailia-Yasser Al-Sherif: Governor Abdul-Gelil Al-Fakharani has agreed to grant local club Ismaili 500 Feddans* to build a new stadium.

Al-Fakharani said that the location of the current Ismailia Stadium has become inadequate due to the population increase in the city.

The current venue is no surrounded by residential areas, which does not allow room for expansion and could hinder the city from hosting top international games.

The Ismailia governor suggested the eastern bank of the Suez Canal as a possible location to inhabit the remote area.
