Zamalek board of directors has agreed in principle on letting striker Amr Zaki seal his 'dream move' to the English Premiership for 2 million sterling pounds.

"The board members discussed the possibility of selling Zaki and we all submitted our initial agreement," Zamalek vice-president Hazem Fawzi told FilGoal.com on Thursday.

Football management company, ‘4 Steps’, has sent Zamalek a fax, on behalf of two English clubs, confirming their interest in signing Zaki during the January 2007 transfer window.

"Our condition is that a company's representative must come with an official authorization from the interested club to negotiate the deal," Fawzi added.

The fax stated that Zaki will have to travel to England to undergo a trial period and medical examination.

The 23-year-old player will already be traveling to London with the Egyptian national team for an international friendly against South Africa on November 15th.

Even though the fax did not name the clubs interested in signing Zaki, FilGoal.com can confirm that Manchester City is one of them.

The Egypt international expressed his hope that the Cairo side's board will accept the move.

"I have a very strong desire to play in the Premiership, it is an opportunity that may never come again," he told FilGoal.com
