Former Zamalek coach Carlos Cabral has given the Egyptian club one week to pay his due $148,000 or he will take the case to Egyptian courts, his lawyer said on Wednesday.

"FIFA ordered Zamalek to give the Brazilian coach his due payment within 30 days from the fourth of October but the club are reluctant to pay," Farghali Abdul-Alim told FilGoal.com.

He added that he will go through legal channels to get Cabral's right in case Zamalek refuse to pay the full amount of money.

On the other hand, Zamalek vice-president Hazem Fawzi said that the club have just received FIFA's letter several days ago.

Fawzi also said that the letter that was written in French is being translated.

Cabral was sacked in May 2004 after a string of poor results.
