Zaki came to blows with Zamalek coach Manuel Cajuda who accused the player of faking injury to travel with the team to Libya.
The player had sustained an injury to his ear drum in the first match against Ittihad, but stayed on the field and struck home the winner for Zamalek.
However, the Portuguese coach refused to acknowledge Zaki's injury as the player refused to travel in fear of further hurting his ear by traveling by airplane.
Zamalek president Mamdouh Abbas intervened on Saturday to solve the situation and took the player to a specialist who gave Zaki the permission to fly to Tripoli after taking the necessary precautions.
Zaki voiced his appreciation for Abbas's efforts and agreed to catch up with the team on Sunday.
