The Gunners suffered a surprise 3-1 away defeat at the hands of London rivals Bolton in the Premiership on Saturday.
The French boss believes it's the change of venue from Highbury to Emirates Stadium at the start of the season that resulted in Arsenal's dismal home record of 3 wins and 4 draws.
"Away from home this year we have done well. But we have gone to a new ground," Wenger was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"It is not completely illogical," he said. "We have just moved in, and we have slipped up, four times we have drawn 1-1."
But Wenger insists its no fault of his or his players for that matter.
"Manchester United or Chelsea would drop a few points at the start if they did that - and that's what has happened to us."
Arsenal's setbacks have resulted in the team slipping to 6th place in the Premiership table with 22 points to their name, 13 points behind leaders Manchester United.
