Tizie

Zamalek have signed Esperance goalkeeper Jean-Jacques Tizie of Ivory Coast for two and a half years in a deal worth $260,000.

Tizie, who featured for Ivory Coast in the 2006 World Cup, will join the Cairo powerhouse in the January transfer window.

Esperance were forced to sell their steadfast guardian after the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) made a decision to ban clubs from having foreign goalkeepers.

The 34-year-old will most probably replace reserve keeper Wael Ismail 'Zenga' in Zamalek's squad list, which already includes Mohamed Abdul-Monsef and Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed.
