European champions Barcelona crushed Club America of Mexico 4-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup in Yokohama on Thursday to set up a final against Brazilian giants Internacional.

Eidur Gudjohnsen fired Barca ahead as early as the 11th minute before Mexican Rafael Marquez extended the lead for the Spanish outfit on the half-hour mark.

Ronaldinho put the game out of reach for the Mexicans with a 65th minute strike and Deco sealed the win with a bullet strike five minutes from time.

Barcelona will now take on Internacional in the final while America play Ahli of Egypt in the third place playoff on Sunday.

The Spanish giants outclassed their Mexican opponents in all aspects of the game, especially in the second-half where Barcelona’s players exhibited some of their best skills.

Barcelona opened the score in the 11th minute through Gudjohnsen who curled home from close range after some swift passing between Deco, Ronaldinho and Iniesta.

Marquez met Deco’s 30th minute corner-kick with a glancing header into the far corner of Guillermo Ochoa’s goal.

Barcelona showed their mettle after the interval.

FIFA Player of the Year nominee Ronaldinho hooked the ball home in the 65th minute after Ludovic Giuly's initial shot was blocked by Ochoa.

The Brazilian international then turned provider when he neatly laid off the ball for Deco who fired a fierce shot from the edge of the area into the top right corner of the net.

In the dying seconds of the game, Ronaldinho’s brilliant volley was denied by the crossbar.

America’s sole dangerous attempt on Barcelona’s goal came when Salvador Cabanas forced goalkeeper Victor Valdes into a great save from a 23rd minute free-kick.
