"I've preliminary agreed to join Ittihad, but Ahli's football committee will have the final word on my future," Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com.
Ittihad vice-president Mohamed Moselhi offered Al-Sayed, whose contract expires in June 2008, a six-month deal worth EGP 250,000 for him.
The 34-year-old revealed that ENPPI are also interested in his services but said he prefers a switch to Ittihad due to their large number of fans and his past experience with the Alexandria-based club.
Since joining Ahli from Masri in May 2005, Al-Sayed was a third-choice keeper and made just two appearances with the Cairo giants.
"I want to leave because I'm not used to being on the bench all the time," Al-Sayed added.
