Barcelona defender Juliano Belletti said he had agreed terms with the European champions for an extension to his contract that ends in 2008.

"I will stay," Spanish media quoted the Brazilian full-back as saying in a press conference on Friday.

"Barcelona tabled their offer and I accepted it and things will be sorted out by next week.

Belletti, who also has an Italian citizenship, was linked with a move to AC Milan in the summer.

Belletti scored Barca's winner over Arsenal in the Champions League final last season in Paris.
