The 25-year-old put in a good display and had plenty of chances including a one-on-one situation early in the second-half before being replaced six minutes past the hour mark.

Zidan joined Mainz from Werder Bremen on a three-and-a-half year contract for a fee of $3.2 million.

He had a previous loan spell with Mainz where he scored nine goals in 26 appearances.
