Hazem Emam said on Tuesday he is ready to sign a contract extension with Zamalek before the end of the season.

The Zamalek skipper told FilGoal.com that he has no 'exceptional' financial requests as he is keen on staying with the Cairo giants.

"Zamalek is the only team that I can play for in Egypt," the 32-year-old playmaker said.

"This club is my home. Nobody in the world would have conditions to stay at home," Emam added.

Emam's contract expires in the end of the season and Zamalek fans were becoming increasingly worried over the future of their golden boy.

The Egyptian international had a sluggish start this season, scoring only one goal in all competitions under former manager Manuel Cajuda.

But since the appointment of Frenchman Henri Michel earlier in January, Emam has been brought back to the starting line-up.
