Oman reached the Gulf Cup final for the second year in a row after edging 1-0 past Bahrain on Saturday.

Badr Al-Maymani scored the winner ten minutes into the second period when he converted an Emad Al-Housni cross home.

Talal Youssef almost equalized in the 81st minute but his bullet cannoned off the frame of the goal.

Bahrain continued their attacks and forced several saves from Bolton and Oman keeper Ali Al-Habsi in the dying seconds.

Oman will face either Saudi Arabia or hosts UAE, who clash later on the same day.
