Brazil and Argentina face tough Copa America draw

South America's highest profile teams Brazil and Argentina have been drawn into two tough groups in the 2007 Copa America tournament.

Holders Brazil have been drawn with Mexico, Chile and Ecuador in group B, while arch rivals Argentina were drawn against Colombia, Paraguay and the United States in Group C.

Hosts Venezuela, on the other hand, have been potted in a relatively easier Group A, which includes Uruguay, Bolivia and Peru.

The opener will see hosts Venezuela entertain Bolivia on June 26th.

Brazil, who have seven Copa America titles to their name, will begin their title defense against Mexico on June 27th in Puerto Ordaz.

The first two teams in each group and the best two of the third-place holders will advance to the second round.

The tournament final is scheduled for July 15th in Maracaibo.
