Saudi side Al-Ettifaq clinched the Gulf Champions League title for the third time in their history after holding Kuwait's Qadsia to a 1-1 home draw in the final's second-leg.Badr Al-Mutawaa put Qadsia ahead in the 23rd minute but Saudi international striker Saleh Beshir levelled the score five minutes past the hour mark.
Al-Ettifaq won the title with a 2-1 aggregate score after beating Qadsia 1-0 in the first-leg.
The Saudi club won the tournament before in 1983 and 1987.
