Several high-profile players departed the Bianconeri in the summer following the club's relegation to Serie B due to their role in the Italian match-fixing scandal.
But Nedved refused to follow in his former teammates footsteps, opting to stay and help Juventus regain their top flight status.
"It’s true, I was contacted by Chelsea and I would have earned a lot of money, but something didn’t convince me," the Czech star Corriere dello Sport.
"I’m not regretting that I decided to stay, on the contrary I would never have forgiven myself for escaping."
The former Lazio midfielder revealed he intends to fulfill his contract which expires in 2008 before deciding where his future lies.
"I have another year on my deal and I will honour it, then I will decide what to do, but I don’t want to make any predictions."
"I have already been close to hanging up my boots quite a few times so it’s better to live day-by-day."
