Abdul-Aziz's Trabzonspor reach Turkish Cup semis

Trabzonspor secured a place in the Turkish Cup semi-finals after a 1-1 draw with Gaziantepspor to qualify with an aggregate 2-1 score line following their first leg 1-0 victory.

Trabzonspor secured a place in the Turkish Cup semi-finals after a 1-1 draw with Gaziantepspor to qualify with an aggregate 2-1 score line following their first leg 1-0 victory.

Kaba Diawara opened the scoring for Gaziantepspor after 13 minutes but Umit Bulut leveled the score in the 73rd minute.

Abdul-Aziz played for the whole game and did well in midfield but the Egyptian international was booked in the second half.

Besiktas and Kayseri beat Manisa and Galatasaray respectively to join Trabzonspor in the semi-finals.

The fourth semifinalist will be determined when Fenerbache take on Genclerberligi on Thursday.
