No further changes will be made in Zamalek's coaching staff after the sacking of assistant coach Mahmoud Saad, the club's board member Mohamed Abou-Alam said on Tuesday.

Saad was fired on Monday after he was involved in a bust-up with Zamalek manager Henri Michel. The club's former striker Ayman Mansour has been appointed in his place.

Although Zamalek spokesman Khaled Gabr told FilGoal.com earlier on Tuesday that Mansour will only serves as a team supervisor without interfering in technical matters, it now seems his statement was not accurate.

"Mansour's role will be assisting Frenchman Michel and he will also act as a team supervisor. The technical staff, with its new shape, will remain until the end of the season at least," Abou-Alam confirmed.

A Zamalek insider source told FilGoal.com that former France boss Michel was pleased with the outcome of his first meeting with Mansour.

On the other hand, Mansour revealed he will do his best to help Michel in their bid to save Zamalek's season.

"I don't have any problems to work as an assistant to Michel, I will definitely learn from working with such a high-profile manager," he told FilGoal.com.
