Zamalek coach Henri Michel excluded Mahmoud Abdul-Razeq ‘Shikabala’ and Youssef Hamdi from the 18-man squad to face Arab Contractors in the Egyptian Premier League on Wednesday following a training ground rift.

The duo was expelled from training after Hamdi lashed out at Shikabala for hogging the ball.

Shikabala responded by kicking the ball out of play and disturbing the practice match.

Zamalek’s new assistant coach Ayman Mansour told Filgoal.com that the incident will be dealt with later according to the team's internal regulations.

"The attitude shown by the two players was clearly unacceptable, and a further sanction will be imposed according the club's regulations," said Mansour.

Zamalek are set to miss their top scorer Amr Zaki for the Arab Contractors' clash after his nose operation last Monday.

Michel also excluded Ahmed Ghanem, Hossam Osama, Mahmoud Mahmoud and Magdi Attwa for technical reasons.
