Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said Tuesday that he will be looking for scoring goals when he’ll meet Roma on Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final, first leg in Rome.

"0-0 is a dangerous scoreline, I watched the video of Roma's home leg against Lyon, and Lyon was the better team that night. But you all saw the result in the second leg. I think we have to score tomorrow." The Scots said in a press conference on Tuesday.

French side Lyon, seen as a potential winner, conceded a draw 0-0 in Rome and got a shock defeat 0-2 at home letting the Italian side going through to the last eight.

On the other hand, Ferguson hailed the Romans coach Luciano Spalletti who uses a very unique tactic. He plays Totti as a lone forward but tends to drop deep, making it very difficult to mark him and effectively giving Roma a six-man midfield.

"It's a big decision to keep the system he's using, very brave, Brave coaches are the best coaches." He added.

Same feelings on the other side as Spalletti said: "Sir Alex is a wonderful coach but there's a difference between him and me: he's won 29 trophies, I've won one Serie C title, I'll watch the way he approaches the game, as I always do when I'm up against great coaches, and I'll try to take some tips."
