Zamalek settle Cabral financial dispute

Zamalek's financial dispute with Brazilian coach Carols Cabral has been resolved, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on Thursday.

Zamalek's financial dispute with Brazilian coach Carlos Cabral has been resolved, the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on Thursday.

World football’s governing body, FIFA, sent the EFA a fax confirming that Zamalek club has held its end of the agreement, the Egyptian FA said on their official website.

FIFA had ruled that Zamalek pay the Brazilian manager $148,000 in compensation after terminating his contract in 2004.

FIFA said that Zamalek settled the coach’s matter and that the case was closed and thanked the EFA for their cooperation.
