Saudi league leaders Al Hilal grabbed a 2-0 away victory over Uzbekistan league champions Pakhtakor, Wednesday, in the AFC Champions League first round Day 3.

Omar Al-Ghamdi (53) and Brazilian Rodrigo (59) struck one each to get their side the full points of the match and climb to the top of Group B with four points.

Pakhtakor dropped to the second place with three points and Koweit are at the bottom with a single point.

Al-Hilal missed their talented Libyan playmaker, Tarek Al-Tayeb, out for injury since Ahli Jeddah clash in the Saudi League.

Hilal had a lackustre start of their campaign as they were held at home by Koweit, 1-1, but they responded brilliantly against Pakhtakor and handed them their first home defeat in the competition since March 16, 2005 when they lost 2-1 against Iraq's Al Zawraa.
