Strasbourg Egyptian winger Ahmed Abou-Mosallam will be out for the next six weeks with a hamstring injury, the club’s official website said on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old defender was submitted to MRI scan on Wednesday morning and it confirmed the first diagnose which means he’ll be out for six weeks and end of the season for him.

The former Ahli player was taken-off on a stretcher in the 68th minute of the game that saw Strasbourg snatch a late 2-1 victory.

Strasbourg are currently 3rd in the Ligue 2 standings on 57 points, ten points adrift of leaders Metz, and three points less than second placed Caen, but Strasbourg have a game in hand.
