Egyptian midfielder Amr Al-Halawani came on as a late substitute to win a 90th minute penalty and help Apollon Kalamaria salvage a last-gasp 1-1 draw against Panathinaikos.

The skillful midfielder was brought down in the penalty area just four minutes after his introduction.

Alban Bushi converted from the spot to cancel out Dimitrious Salpiggidis 59th minute penalty.

Kalamaria lie 12th on 31 points in the Greek league, five points above the relegation zone, while Panathinaikos are 3rd on 52 points.

Elsewhere, Ahmed Magdi's team Atromitos were beaten 1-0 at home by Panionios in a game which the Egyptian defender played in full.

Atromitos are in 8th place with 34 points, while Panionios where Magdi used to play jumped to 5th on 39.

The next round of the Greek League will see Halawani's Kalamaria hosting Magdi's Atromitos next Sunday at the Apollon Kalamarias Stadium.
