Zamalek denied Amr Zaki's claims that the club has accepted a one-month loan deal for the player from Qatari side Al-Rayan.

Zaki revealed a $150,000 loan offer from Al-Rayan, starting from May 2nd, and he claimed the club's acceptance for the deal.

"The club has accepted my transfer to Al-Rayan for one month and this deal could benefit the club financially," Zaki told FilGoal.com on Saturday.

However, club general manager Alaa Meklid denied Zaki's claims, when he confirmed that Zamalek sent an official response to the Qatari side acknowledging their rejection.

"The financial benefit does not matter in Zaki's case, we need to keep our unity," Meklid told FilGoal.com

"He is the club's top scorer and he is not for sale, the offer has been officially rejected."

Zamalek have encountered a state of unrest with some players, including Zaki, since their Arab Champions League (ACL) exit, and the player was recently fined for his continuous request for a transfer and absence from training.
