The Dervishes board led by Yahia Al-Koumi accused skipper Moawad of criticizing the chairman publicly and stalling over signing a new deal with the club, hinting to a Zamalek move.
However, the defender denied the accusations, claiming that he produced a normal response to Al-Koumi's inexplicable criticism, as he denied the Zamalek link as well.
"I just defended myself, I didn’t start criticizing Al-Koumi, he attacked me for no reason and I just replied," Moawad told FilGoal.com.
"I didn’t receive any offer from Zamalek, I am still under contract with Ismaili and I did not stall over a new deal."
On the other hand, playmaker Gamal has been suspended for technical reasons after he failed to perform defensive duties, as he has been asked by the coach, in Ismaili's 2-1 league win over Ittihad on Monday.
