G Badr Al-Mutwa, Khalaf Salama and Musaed Neda scored for Qadisiya, while Osama Hosni scored Ahli's only goal.

Ahli played the game with a reserve line-up, as the team is having a host of key players rested and selected for the national team.

The African champions welcomed back injury-ridden Angolan midfielder Sebastiao Gilberto, who marked his return with a missed penalty.

The Ahli squad will rest on Wednesday before resuming full training on Thursday, in preparation for Al-Gaish quarter-finals cup clash on June 8th.

Rested players will also return to the squad on Thursday, including Emad Al-Nahhas, Mohamed Barakat and Emad Meteb, in addition to Islam Al-Shater who is back from injury.
