The Jeddah giants delivered an impressive fight-back after being one down by Omar Al-Ghamdi in the 25th minute to end the game with the full points and the title thanks to goals from Ossama Al-Mowaled and Al-Montasheri in the 75th and 95th minute respectively.
Al-Ghamdi opened the score in the 25th minute with a magnificent shot from outside the area that left ‘Itti’ keeper with no chance.
Ittihad reacted in the second half what pushed Hilal boss Marcos Paqueta to opt for a more defensive tactic as he pulled out his strikers Yasser Al-Qahtani and Brazilian Alven Rodrigo.
The Jeddah fans had to wait until the 75th minute to see Mowaled netting the equalizer with a well placed half volley.
Ittihad maintained on their pressing while the Riyadh based side kept strangely their defensive stand.
And while everybody was waiting for the final whistle and then extra-time Al-Montasheri rose high to score a winner in the dying seconds and win the title.
