Terry scored England's goal

Diego scored in injury time to give Brazil a 1-1 draw against England in the international friendly at the new Wembley stadium on Friday.

Chelsea defender John Terry put the home side in front with a 68th minute header, before Diego did the same two minutes into stoppage time.

The game was highlighted with the return of David Beckham to the England roster for the first time since the 2006 World Cup.

The former captain set up current captain Terry for the opener with a pinpoint free kick and the Chelsea skipper headed in brilliantly.

Beckham, who was usually booed by the England fans in recent years whenever he touched the ball after the 1998 World Cup, was subjected to massive cheers after his return to the squad.

England were about to mark their return to the new Wembley with a famous win, but Bundesliga player of the year Diego, met Gilberto Silva's 92nd minute cross with a fine header to level the score.

England captain Terry praised Beckham after the Real Madrid man set him up with the goal.

"David was different class today, his delivery is superb," Terry told reporters after the game.
