Al-Badri, who is filling in for Portuguese head coach Manuel Jose, said that Hassan did not perform well in Sunday’s training and refused to abide by the technical staff’s instructions, Ahli’s official website reported.
The 34-year-old Hassan played a bit-part in Ahli's third successive league title since joining from Asyut Petroleum in January.
Even though Al-Badri said that Hassan's punishment is purely financial, it is expected that he will be sidelined for Ahli's Egyptian Cup game against Al-Gaish on Friday.
Striker Osama Hosni will definitely miss the quarter-final game due to the recurring groin injury that has sidelined him for the bigger part of the season.
The hapless forward will undergo a 10 day rehabilitation program under the supervision of team doctor Ehab Ali.
