The current Egyptian Football Association (EFA) vice-president confirmed the offer, but did not state his intention to leave.

"I have received a very good offer from another network, it is too good to be turned down, but I will consider my options after meeting with Dream TV president Ahmed Bahgat whom I deem a lot of respect for," Shobeir told Filgoal.com.

A Dream TV official said that the meeting between Bahgat and the former Egypt goalkeeper will be held soon in an attempt to keep him.

"I will consider the new offer from Dream, and compare it with the other one," added Shobeir.

Shobeir has been a key factor in the success of Dream TV since he took charge of sports programs in the network five years ago.

He presents two of the most famous sports shows in Egypt, which are 'Football with Dream' and 'Sports Today'.
