Ismailia-Yasser Al-Sherif: Ismaili president Yehia Al-Koumi once again accused the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) of favoring Cairo powerhouses Ahli and Zamalek at the expense of other clubs.

Al-Koumi said that even when it came to the revenue distribution from broadcasting rights, his club was undervalued.

"Ahli and Zamalek’s share is EGP 700,000 each, while we only get 100,000," Al-Koumi told FilGoal.com.

Al-Koumi has asked other Egyptian clubs to support his cause and theirs by taking a stand against the EFA.

The Ismailia-based club chairman said that his first act of defiance will be in Ismaili’s Egyptian Cup quarter-final match against Harras Al-Hodoud, where his team will not feature any ads on their kit.

Meanwhile, Ismaili coach Patrice Neveu denied any knowledge of the club’s recent deals, noting that the club board has no right to impose it’s choices on him.

The Frenchman said that he forwarded a report of the football team’s needs and requirements for the new season to Ismaili’s officials, but will not make them public before the end of the season.

Football director Sayed Abdul-Razek made it clear the club is supporting Neveu and that he will personally make sure the French manager’s requirements, in terms of players and resources, are met.
