Suez-Mohamed Idris: Former Ahli coach Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Shafi 'Zizo' has been named new manager of Suez Cement, replacing Mohamed Amer who will take the helm at Asyut Petroleum next season.

The former Ahli star agreed terms with the Cement board in a meeting late on Saturday meeting in the presence of secretary general Hussein Mugawer and football director Alaa Hammad.

Zizo is likely to sign a one-year-deal, and the details of the move should be announced by the Suez-based club in the upcoming few days.

Cement's former coach Amer will be heading to Asyut Petroleum after agreeing terms with the recently-relegated club, as current Asyut coach Anwar Salama will be coaching ENPPI.

Zizo spent the past season in charge of Ittihad Jeddah’s youth academy , but he rejected a further stay with the Saudi club, in favor of the lead role with Cement.

Suez Cement finished the Egyptian Premier League in 11th place with 33 points.
