The paper said that the president of El-Abdi's previous club Sfaxien, Salah Al-Din Al-Zahhaf, wants to offload the player for a fee of $1 million.
Al-Zahhaf has already opened talks with a Qatari club and another one from UAE.
The Sfaxien president has been persistently claiming that the centre-half will return to his previous club next season after Zamalek failed to pay the installments for Al-Abdi’s services.
Sfaxien claimed that Zamalek haven't paid an installment of the deal, a case which was taken to FIFA by the Tunisian outfit in order to solve the problem.
El-Abdi joined Zamalek in the January transfer window on a two-year deal for $400,000 and swiftly established himself as a key member of the team's defense.
