"The two semi-final games will be played as previously scheduled," competitions committee chief Nayef Ezzat told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.
It has been initially thought that the EFA could bring forward the fixtures in order to finish the season earlier than was planned especially after the postponement of Egypt's African qualifiers game against Burundi, which was scheduled for June 17th.
However, Ezzat revealed that the EFA opted against any change out of respect to the commitments of the clubs participating in the competition.
"We considered moving the games to the 18th and 19th of June but took our final decision for the clubs' benefits," he added.
The first game will feature Zamalek and Asyut Petroleum on June 27th while holders Ahli take on Ismaili one day later.
Ismaili objected on the committee's initial suggestion to play the games next week as the fixture will clash with their pre-season program while Ahli also voiced their discontent because their top scorer Flavio Amado will be missing for international duty with Angola.
