إينو أثار جدل كبير بانتقاله للأهلي

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has imposed an EGP 50,000 fine on Zamalek midfielder Moetazbellah Mohamed 'Eno' for making press interviews without the club's permission.

The EFA's decision has infuriated Zamalek, who demanded the player to be banned and fined for an alleged breach to his contract with the Cairo giants.

Zamalek claim that Eno has signed for their arch-rivals Ahli in December, seven months before his deal's expiry in contradiction to FIFA rules.

However, EFA official Mohamed Ali told FilGoal.com on Wednesday that Ahli have acted according to the player transfer regulations and officially signed the player on the 25th of May.

Ali also said that Eno will have to give Zamalek back EGP 20,000 which he unlawfully acquired.

Zamalek have reacted furiously to the decision, insisting that they will not give up their demands.

"The decision is totally unacceptable. We will take the case to FIFA," Zamalek board member Ahmed Tawfik Hafez told FilGoal.com.

Zamalek treasurer Yehia Mostafa Kamel echoed Tawfik's sentiment, saying that the club want Eno to be banned for a year and fined EGP five millions.

On the other hand, the 23-year-old Eno said the decision cleared him of any wrongdoing and clarified that he was fully committed to Zamalek during the duration of his deal.

An Ahli official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, insisted that the Red Devils have never breached any rules regarding approaching players.
