Saad scores as Jordan hit three past Lebanon in West Asia Cup

Jordan international winger Khaled Saad, who joined Zamalek, scored to lead his team to a 3-0 victory against Lebanon on Wednesday in West Asia Nations Cup group B.

Jordan international winger Khaled Saad, who joined Zamalek, scored to lead his team to a 3-0 victory against Lebanon on Wednesday in West Asia Nations Cup group B.

Awad Ragheb, 28, Khaled Saad, 57, and Adei Sayfi, 78, scored the goal for the hosts.

Saad was among the starting eleven and he was used by coach Mahmoud Al-Gohari as a central midfielder. He had a very impressive game and was able to get on the score sheet with the second goal.

Jordan qualified as second of this group just behind Syria and will face Iran, top of group A, in the semi-final.
