Mexico and United States will meet in the Gold Cup Final (CONCACAF) after beating Guadeloupe and Canada respectively on Friday.

A 70th minute brilliant strike from Pavel Pardo gave Mexico a 1-0 tough victory over Guadeloupe.

Title holders USA advanced to the final with a 2-1 win over Canada thanks to an impressive performance form Landon Donovan. The LA Galaxy forward set up Frankie Hejduk for the opener at the 39th minute before doubling the score himself, from the spot, six minute later.

Iain Hume scored Canada's consolation goal 11 minute before time.

Mexico will face USA on Sunday and the winner will book a place in the FIFA Confederations Cup set to be hosted by South African in 2009.
