USA came back from a goal down to beat North American neighbors Mexico and claim the CONCACAF Gold Cup title for the second straight time.

Mexico took a 44th-minute lead through Jose Andres Guardado, but the tournament's hosts overturned their defeat in the second half.

Landon Donovan leveled the scoring with his fourth spot kick of the competition in the 62nd minute, and Benny Feilhaber wrapped up the victory with a superb 77th minute volley.

The Americans are the first to reach the FIFA Confederations Cup hosted by South Africa in 2009.
