JS Kabylie manager Azzedine Ait Djoudi step down from his position after his team away defeat against Ittihad Libya 1-0 in the CAF Champions League quarter finals on Friday.

Djoudi told the press that he had served the club from all his heart but recently he has been under a huge pressure and he can't stand it anymore.

The decision comes as a reverse of situation after the JSK coach had previously announced that the rumors concerning his departure have no ground.

But apparently the media and supporters' criticism have pushed him too far. "I don't know where those people were when the club was laying at the bottom of the table at the beginning of the season.

"We ended the season safely and were eliminated from the Cup semis. Far from all the pessimism I think we still have good chances of going through as there are still five games to be played with three on our home ground."

Djoudi, who was appointed eight months ago, quit his job just 10 days before a crucial encounter against FAR Rabat in the CAF Champions League.
