German giants Bayern Munich have unveiled Miroslav Klose, on Tuesday, as a new signing. The German international striker is set to pass a medical on Thursday before signing a four-year deal.

Klose, 29, has been linked with the Bavarian side since the opening of the transfer window but the transfer was delayed due to Werder Bremen's financial demands.

According to kicker magazine the transfer should be sealed for a fee around of 12 million euro.

Klose became Bayen's 8th signing after the arrivals of Luca Toni, Franck Ribery, Zé Roberto, Jose Ernesto Sosa, Marcell Jansen, Jan Schlaudraff and Hamit Altintop.

Bayern are willing to strengthen their squad after finishing fourth in the Bundesliga last season and failed to qualify for the Champions League.
