"I have already taken my decision regarding Hamdi's move, which I totally reject, but I can see that they are still attempting to bring him on," Omar told Filgoal.com on Friday.
Omar recently revealed his unwillingness to capture the former Ittihad midfielder, because his position is already well occupied.
However, the Ittihad chief is now claiming that Hamdi's departure from the Alexandria-based club two years ago is largely behind his decision.
"I refuse to re-acquire Hamdi because we don’t need a player who previously snubbed the club, it’s a matter of fact," added Omar.
Hamdi's transfer saga was initially created by former Ittihad board member Hisham Al-Torki, and the Ittihad coach will not allow any intervention within his job.
"If the board insisted to interfere in my decisions, I won't be able to continue my job as Ittihad manager."
