Poland shocked Brazil
Poland grabbed a shocking 1-0 win over giants Brazil in the opening game of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Montreal, Canada.

Poland scored what proved to be the winner in the 23rd minute thanks to a stunning free kick from Grzegorz Krychowiak.

The brave Poles managed to hold on to their lead despite having a man down in the 27th minute when defender Krzysztof Krol saw red for a second bookable offense.

Poland take charge of Group D on three points, while the Brazilians are at the bottom with no points.

In the other group match, USA were fortunate to claim a 1-1 draw against Korea Republic, who dominated the game for long spells.

Danny Szetela scored after 16 minutes to give the US an early lead, but the goal was cancelled out by Korea's Young Rok Shin seven minutes from the break.

The two teams share second place on 1 point from their opening game.

Elsewhere, Group E matches kick off ended up to a dull stalemate, as Argentina were held 0-0 by Czech Republic, and the Korea DPR-Panama game witnessed the same score line.
